Foxtel Group secures media rights of Netball World Cup 2023 in Australia

Following the partnership, Foxtel Group has secured media rights in Australia to broadcast every single game of the Netball World Cup 2023.

The apex body of netball, the World Netball has announced its partnership with the Australian media company, Foxtel Group

Following the partnership, Foxtel Group has secured media rights in Australia to broadcast every single game of the Netball World Cup 2023, which is to be held in Cape Town, South Africa from July 28 to August 6. Along with Foxtel, the Australian public service broadcaster, SBS Australia (Special Broadcasting Service) will also be able to telecast the semi-finals and final game in the land down under.

Both the deals with Foxtel and SBS have been brokered by the leading sports agency, SPORTFIVE.

After securing the full-fledged media rights, the Australian media giant will possess the tournament’s dedicated carousel feature which will be there on the Kayo Sports homepage, which will have the Australian national netball team’s games from the previous edition of the event, including live and on-demand matches and analysis.

The highlights of every game will be available through Fox, in the form of ‘Kayo Minis’ after the final whistle. The fans in Australia can also get access to a one-hour preview show for every Diamonds match and knockout games including finals, before the event on July 24.

Throughout the competition, there will be three half-hour specials on various international players from different participating nations in addition to the match-day coverage provided by the media entity.
