The all-electric motorsport association, Formula E has announced a new multi-year extended partnership with a private banking corporation, Julius Baer. This new agreement has been inked until the end of 2026.
Since its inception in 2014, Julius Baer has been a global partner of the world’s first all-electric motorsport series. The extension demonstrates Julius Baer’s dedication to the series. Julius Baer is committed to increasing awareness and climate change mitigation and sustainable development, in line with Formula E’s quest of advancing sustainable human headway through the force of electric racing.
Julius Baer is assisting the championship as it spreads its rapidly increasing world fanbase and is the title sponsor of the 2023 Julius Baer So Paulo E-Prix, which will take place on March 25, 2023. In Season 9, the Brazilian city embraces Hyderabad and Cape Town as new host cities for ABB FIA Formula E World Championship races.
Philipp Rickenbacher, CEO, Julius Baer, commented, “As one of Formula E’s founding partners since 2014, it should come as no surprise that we remain enthusiastic about the success of our engagement with the all-electric series. We are united with Formula E by a pioneering spirit and an interest in the innovations and megatrends that are shaping our future.”
Jamie Reigle, CEO, Formula E, said, “Julius Baer has been a valued global partner of Formula E since the beginning and we are delighted this will continue with a multiyear extension through the Gen3 era. Together, we remain committed to accelerating change towards an electric future and will be collaborating on a global scale across our races to bring that mission to life.”
