Formula 1 signs partnership extension with Ferrari Trento

Ferrari Trento has launched a range of initiatives that have succeeded in capturing the attention of motor racing fans.

Formula 1 has signed a two-year extension to its sponsorship agreement with the sparkling wine brand, Ferrari Trento. The deal foresees that the brand will continue to serve as the official toast of Formula 1 until 2025.

Formula 1, abbreviated as F1 is an international motor racing competition. It is the highest level of professional single-seat, open-wheel and open-cockpit motor racing competition.

Along with presenting the podium bubbles at every Grand Prix, Ferrari Trento has launched a range of initiatives that have captured the attention of motor racing fans around the world. The company’s wines have become famous both on and off the Grand Prix circuits.

Ferrari Trento, also known as Cantine Ferrari, is an Italian company that specialises in producing traditional method sparkling wine, also known as Metodo Classico or Méthode Classique.

The limited-edition items are the most appreciated works of the brand. This includes the three-litre Ferrari F1 Podium Jeroboam, which is available at fine wine stores and online. The ‘Ferrari F1 Podium Jeroboam’ is an authentic replica of the bottle used to celebrate the winning drivers on the podium. The real bottle is signed at the end of each event by the top three racers and auctioned for charity during each race weekend on F1 Authentics.

Matteo Lunelli, President of Ferrari Trento said, “When we announced this partnership in 2021, we talked about it not only being a great achievement, but also a starting point. Today, just a year later, we can confirm that this partnership has revealed itself to be an incredible opportunity for communicating our values to a vast and enthusiastic audience all over the world. Exactly 120 years after the founding of Ferrari Trento, we are proud that our sparkling wines are increasingly present on the global stage and that they have become part and parcel of the excitement and entertainment that Formula 1® provides.”

Brandon Snow, Managing Director, Formula 1 said, “We are thrilled to announce that Ferrari Trento is extending its partnership with Formula 1® for another two years. “It is a huge testament to all those involved to be announcing such an exciting extension after just one full season into the partnership and we are very excited to continue to have them present at every podium through 2025”.
