The Aditya Mehta Foundation, the Hyderabad-based organisation specialising in para-sports rehabilitation and high-performance training, has entered a new partnership with Flutter Entertainment India LLP, the India centre of excellence for global sports entertainment operator Flutter.
The collaboration is designed to expand athlete development pathways and improve access to world-class training environments for para-athletes across the country.
Flutter Entertainment India has committed INR 60 lakh through Flutter Global’s “Do More” initiative. The investment will drive major upgrades across AMF’s ecosystem, including enhanced training facilities, an expanded adaptive gym, improved rehabilitation infrastructure, structured nutrition plans, and specialised coaching support.
The funding will also provide customised adaptive devices and sport-specific equipment, directly supporting up to 15 para-athletes as they prepare for elite competitions such as the Asian Youth Para Games, World Championships, World Cups, and the qualification pathway toward the Paralympic Games in LA28.
Speaking on the collaboration, Aditya Mehta, International Paracyclist and Founder, Aditya Mehta Foundation, said, “We are delighted to partner with Flutter, whose support will significantly strengthen India’s para-sports ecosystem. Para-athletes require specialized training, rehabilitation and adaptive equipment, and this investment will directly help them access these essential resources. The collaboration will enable athletes to compete in key national and international tournaments, including World Championships and World Cups, which are crucial for earning qualification points. This support aligns with our shared vision of securing multiple slots for the 2028 Paralympics and elevating talented para-athletes to the highest levels of global competition.”
Ashish Sinha, Managing Director, Flutter Entertainment India, added, “Para-athletes represent resilience, ambition, and the belief that sport should be accessible to everyone. Our partnership with the Aditya Mehta Foundation reflects Flutter’s long-term commitment to creating high-quality training ecosystems that enable athletes to perform at their best. By strengthening access to adaptive equipment, sports science, and professional coaching, we aim to support para-athletes in achieving their full potential and competing with confidence on the global stage.”
The partnership is anchored in two core programs. The first focuses on upgrading AMF’s training and rehabilitation centre, strengthening its adaptive gym, introducing advanced sports science support, and ensuring athletes have access to national and international competition opportunities.
The second program funds customised adaptive devices and specialised equipment tailored to each athlete’s needs, addressing a key performance gap where precision, safety and accessibility can define competitive outcomes.
The collaboration aligns with Flutter’s global Positive Impact Plan and its “Do More” pillar, which targets improving the lives of 10 million people by 2030. It also underscores a growing trend in the sports industry, where purpose-driven investment in para-sport is becoming central to corporate strategy as brands seek to strengthen their social impact footprint while supporting high-performance pathways.
India’s para-athletes have delivered milestone performances at recent Paralympic Games and major international tournaments, yet the ecosystem continues to face barriers in rehabilitation access, equipment affordability and specialist coaching. Partnerships like this one bridge those structural gaps, strengthening the base of the pyramid while giving elite athletes the infrastructure required to compete globally.
Founded in 2013 by international para-cyclist Aditya Mehta, the Aditya Mehta Foundation has grown into Asia’s first dedicated centre for para-sports rehabilitation and high-performance development. Its work has helped shape India’s modern para-sports pipeline, supporting hundreds of athletes and contributing to more than 450 international medals. Through training camps, adaptive equipment support, and nationwide awareness drives, AMF has played a crucial role in bringing para-sport into mainstream conversation.
With the next Paralympic cycle moving toward LA28, this partnership signals another step in building an inclusive, sustainable athlete development ecosystem powered by long-term investment, science-backed training, and equitable access for para-athletes across India.
