Florida Panthers extend partnership with Amerant Bank

Amerant will also benefit from an expansive bundle of marketing assets all across FLA Arena.

The National Hockey League (NHL) team, Florida Panthers have announced a new sponsorship renewal agreement with the Florida-based largest community bank, Amerant Bank. In this deal, the financial services firm has been labelled as the official bank of the NHL team.

Furthermore, Amerant will also act as the official bank of the team’s FLA Arena home. Along with this, the firm will also obtain naming rights to the venue’s premium club, which will now be known as the ‘Amerant Vault.’

The arrangement expands on the bank’s current agreement as the Panthers’ helmet partner, which was signed in 2021 and expanded earlier this year to incorporate away games.

Amerant will also benefit from an expansive bundle of marketing assets all across FLA Arena, such as virtual on-ice positioning and assimilation into the Panthers’ community engagement activities, as part of the new alliance.

Shawn Thornton, Florida Panthers, Chief Revenue Officer, commented, “We are thrilled to expand our partnership with Amerant and elevate their status to become the official bank of the Panthers and FLA Live Arena. Looking ahead, we are excited for Amerant Bank to offer their world-class customer service and banking experience to our fans, staff and South Florida community.”

Jerry Plush, Amerant Bank, Chairman and Chief Executive, said, “Our goal is to be the bank of choice in the markets we serve. Aligning our company with partners with strong brands is an essential step in achieving that goal. We are delighted to expand our relationship with the Panthers and look forward to even greater success together.”
