The International Ski and Snowboard Federation (FIS) has secured a major commercial boost after extending its long-standing partnership with German automotive giant Audi through 2030, ensuring the continuation of one of the most established sponsorship relationships in global winter sports.

The renewed agreement will see Audi retain its position as title sponsor of the Audi FIS Alpine Ski World Cup and continue as an official partner of the FIS Alpine World Ski Championships. The extension covers the next Olympic cycle and reinforces Audi’s commitment to elite winter sports as the federation prepares for a packed international calendar leading up to the 2030 Winter Olympics.

The partnership, which has spanned more than two decades, has become a cornerstone of Alpine skiing’s commercial ecosystem. Audi’s continued investment provides FIS with long-term sponsorship stability while maintaining a globally recognised brand presence across one of the federation’s flagship properties.

As part of the agreement, Audi will continue to receive extensive exposure through venue branding, international broadcast coverage and digital media activations across FIS competitions. The partnership also offers the automotive manufacturer year-round opportunities to engage with winter sports audiences, athletes and host destinations across key global markets.

Johan Eliasch, FIS President, said, “This partnership has been built on trust, shared values, and a long-standing commitment to excellence. Audi has been a key partner in the continued growth and professionalization of Alpine Skiing, helping to elevate the visibility and global appeal of our sport worldwide. FIS is delighted to extend this successful collaboration with Audi through 2030 as we look ahead to the next Olympic cycle, continuing to deliver exceptional experiences for athletes, organisers, broadcasters, and fans around the world.”

For Audi, the extension reinforces its association with a premium, affluent and internationally engaged fan base. For FIS, retaining one of its longest-serving commercial partners strengthens its sponsorship portfolio and provides valuable continuity as the organisation continues to expand the global reach of skiing and snowboarding.

The deal highlights the growing importance of long-term brand partnerships in supporting the commercial sustainability and global development of international sports properties.
