FIS Alpine World Ski Championships announces Interwetten as main sponsor

Interwetten will receive significant marketing rights for the FIS Alpine World Ski Championships, including branding, activations, and fan experiences.

The FIS Alpine World Ski Championships, the alpine skiing competition organised by the International Ski Federation, has announced a sponsorship deal with Interwetten, an online sports betting and gaming company.

Following this agreement, the brand has become the main sponsor of the event, which is set to be held in Saalbach next year. The Championship will be held at Saalbach for the second time next year, from February 4 to 16, 2025.

As part of the agreement, Interwetten will receive significant marketing rights for the Austrian event, including branding, activations, and fan experiences surrounding the World Championships.

The agreement was mediated by the sports marketing firm Infront, which is the international governing body for skiing’s rights partner.

The agreement strengthens Interwetten’s ties to the sport in Austria, since the company has previously cooperated with the Austrian Ski Association since 2017.
Infront is the exclusive marketer of all broadcast and commercial rights to most top-tier FIS events until the 2025 Alpine event. It sells global media rights on all platforms and regions, in addition to sponsorship and hospitality packages.

Recently, Interwetten also forged a partnership renewal with the National Hockey League (NHL) in a multi-year deal.
