Rohit Sharma has signed a sponsorship deal with Financepeer. The opening batsman and vice-captain of the Indian team will be the brand ambassador of the firm that helps in facilitating educating loans for students.
Since its inception in 2017, Financepeer has become one of the leading financial platforms that focusses on providing monetary assistance for educational purposes. Association with Rohit Sharma will help Financepeer to strengthen their hold in the market and get a bigger exposure in India.
Sharma is likely to endorse the firm through digital platforms. It remains to be seen whether this deal will include his participation in Television commercials to promote Financepeer. The finance firm will have an even bigger role in the current situation as students face uncertainty about their academic plans.
During the announcement of this collaboration, Sharma admitted that he has been thoroughly impressed by the business model of Financepeer. He also heaped praise on the firm for guiding parents in finding the best possible education solution for the children.
The 33-year-old Indian batsman is currently recuperating from an injury in India as BCCI decided him to rest for ODI and T-20 series against Australia. He is set to join the test squad as India look to retain the Border Gavaskar. Sharma recently enjoyed another fruitful campaign with Mumbai Indians as they clinched the fifth IPL title.
