FIFA signs Claro as regional supporter for Qatar 2022

Claro will leverage its deal by running different promotions to interact with passionate fans across South America through brand assets, tickets, and pre-produced content.

Claro, a telecommunications company, has been signed as the regional supporter of the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022. Claro has a global customer base. The company provides cellular phones, internet, television, and other telecommunications services.

The new agreement provides fixed-line and wireless telecommunication services, as well as wireless telecommunication end-user services, in Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Ecuador, Paraguay, Peru, and Uruguay.

Claro will leverage its association with the tournament as a regional supporter by running different promotions to interact with passionate fans across South America through brand assets, tickets, and pre-produced content available with Claro throughout the year leading up to the FIFA World Cup 2022.

FIFA’s Director of Commercial Revenues, Nick Brown, said, “Claro will help to build excitement ahead of this year’s tournament and bring the joy of this groundbreaking competition to South America, a continent that has produced the FIFA World Cup champions on nine occasions over the years.

Brazil and Argentina have already qualified for FIFA World Cup which will be held from November 21 to December 18, 2022, with up to three more spots available to South American teams.
