FIFA has strengthened its commercial lineup ahead of its upcoming global events, announcing a new formalwear partnership with Boggi Milano alongside a major retail agreement with Fanatics for the FIFA World Cup 2026 across North America.
FIFA has named Boggi Milano, the Italian menswear brand, as the official formalwear supplier for both the FIFA World Cup and the FIFA Women’s World Cup. Under the agreement, Boggi will design and deliver tailored suits, shirts and accessories for referees, officials and representatives through the entire tournament cycle.
The move deepens FIFA’s shift into premium lifestyle collaborations, positioning a European fashion house at the centre of football’s biggest global stages. Boggi’s collections will be visible across ceremonies, draw events, matchday protocol and broadcast environments, offering the brand high-impact visibility through on-screen and in-venue moments.
Boggi Milano’s international retail footprint, covering more than 200 stores worldwide, supports its continued expansion into sports-adjacent luxury as football increasingly attracts fashion-forward commercial partners.
Mattias Grafström, FIFA Secretary General, said, “It is with great pleasure that we announce this collaboration with Boggi Milano – a globally renowned fashion house whose reputation and craft make them the ideal brand to supply the workforce apparel for the biggest and best sporting events in the world. FIFA and Boggi Milano share a commitment to excellence, innovation and global reach. Together, we look forward to elevating how our teams present themselves on the world stage and creating meaningful value for fans, partners and stakeholders worldwide.”
In a separate development, FIFA has awarded Fanatics the exclusive retail rights for the FIFA World Cup 2026 across the United States, Canada and Mexico. The agreement spans all 104 matches of the expanded 48-team tournament and includes stadium retail, fan festival stores, host city pop-ups, mobile retail, and e-commerce operations.
Fanatics, the global merchandise powerhouse, will manage the largest event-time retail program in FIFA’s history. Its product catalogue will cover match-specific merchandise, national team apparel, tournament-branded collections, accessories, collectibles and city-focused drops tailored to local markets.
FIFA Chief Business Officer Romy Gai said, “As we approach the FIFA World Cup 2026, we’re thrilled to partner with Fanatics to create many world-class retail experiences throughout the tournament. This is an incredibly complex undertaking, with 16 host cities across three countries, but Fanatics sets itself apart through an innovative merchandising approach and proven track record delivering standout results at the world’s biggest events. We’re excited to work together as we celebrate the beautiful game next June-July.”
The 2026 edition is projected to be the most commercially successful World Cup to date, powered by record stadium capacities, a high-spending North American fan base and unprecedented media attention. The Fanatics partnership centralises the entire merchandising ecosystem under a single operator known for scale, technology-driven retail and rapid fulfilment.
The agreement also places Fanatics at the heart of a three-year North American mega-event cycle, reinforcing its position as a global leader in sports retail.
Together, the Boggi Milano and Fanatics deals highlight FIFA’s strategy to diversify its commercial portfolio, linking fashion, lifestyle and advanced retail operations to football’s most-watched international tournaments.
