In a move poised to revolutionize how football fans worldwide experience the sport, FIFA and DAZN have announced a landmark long-term strategic partnership.

This collaboration has established FIFA+ as the global “Home of Football” on DAZN’s leading sports entertainment platform, significantly expanding football’s reach and offering an unparalleled fan experience.

The alliance kicked off with the exclusive global broadcast of the entire FIFA Club World Cup 2025 live on DAZN on June 14 in the United States. All 63 matches of this expanded 32-team tournament will be available globally for free with a DAZN Freemium account. This initiative underscores FIFA’s dedication to making football truly global and accessible to all.

Speaking on the occasion, Shay Segev, DAZN Group CEO, said, “This partnership with FIFA cements DAZN’s role as the ultimate digital destination for football, allowing fans everywhere to access a vast, premium football content library. Together with FIFA’s brand and reach, we will deliver an unmatched entertainment experience, supporting FIFA’s vision of expanding the game’s global footprint and engaging new audiences.”

FIFA Secretary General Mattias Grafström added, “At FIFA, we are proud to always be looking towards the future, looking at how to innovate, with the specific aim of protecting and nurturing the growth of our game for the generations ahead. This partnership with DAZN aligns exactly with that objective. Their vision is global, as is ours, and we look forward to furthering our collaboration with them through FIFA+ as the “Home of Football”.”

Following the FIFA Club World Cup 2025, FIFA+ on DAZN will evolve into a comprehensive digital destination for football enthusiasts. The platform will feature a rich content library, including extensive historical archives, where fans will gain unprecedented access to full match replays of every FIFA World Cup game since Brazil 1970, alongside curated compilations of iconic goals and unforgettable moments. There will also be a wealth of original documentaries, in-depth player interviews, and behind-the-scenes content, providing unique insights from football personalities and delving into the sport’s greatest stories. An exclusive news service will launch after the Club World Cup, keeping fans abreast of all the latest developments, breaking stories, and editorial content from across the global football landscape. Additionally, the platform will offer content from over 150 men’s and women’s leagues and national teams, further cementing its position as a central hub for diverse football content.

This strategic alliance leverages DAZN’s cutting-edge streaming technology, extensive global distribution network, and expertise in delivering immersive sports experiences. Combined with FIFA’s unparalleled football portfolio and brand, this creates a powerful synergy designed to resonate particularly with younger, digitally-native audiences. Innovation will be a key focus, with features like a “Fan Zone” offering interactive chats, polling, and contests. The partnership even hints at potential “referee cam” viewing options for a truly unique perspective on the game, pushing the boundaries of sports broadcasting.

This partnership transcends a typical broadcasting deal; it’s a strategic alignment aimed at empowering leagues and FIFA Member Associations to distribute their content on a global scale, thereby expanding football’s accessibility and engagement worldwide. As the FIFA Club World Cup 2025 unfolds in the coming weeks, the world will get its first taste of what promises to be a transformative era for digital football consumption.
