FC Porto have entered into a new three-year partnership with global investment platform XTB, naming the company the club’s official investment partner through the end of the 2028-29 season.

The agreement sees XTB feature on the sleeve of FC Porto’s men’s first-team shirt during domestic competitions, giving the investment platform prominent exposure across the club’s matchday, stadium and digital properties. The partnership will also include branding and activation opportunities designed to engage FC Porto supporters beyond traditional sponsorship visibility.

André Villas-Boas, President of FC Porto, said, “We are very pleased to welcome XTB to FC Porto. This three-year agreement brings our Club together with an ambitious and internationally recognised organisation. The partnership will allow us to create relevant experiences for our Members and supporters, strengthen FC Porto’s international reach and generate lasting value for the Club.

“As a Members’ Club, we have a responsibility to choose partners who understand our identity, respect our history and share our ambition for the future. FC Porto and XTB are united by a culture of performance, innovation, excellence and a desire to win. The arrival of XTB is another clear sign of the strength, credibility and international standing of FC Porto, and we hope that these three years will mark the beginning of a successful and long-standing partnership.”

Omar Arnaout, CEO of XTB, added, “This partnership allows us to significantly boost our visibility in key European markets while deepening our connection with football fans. Our collaboration goes far beyond branding; we are committed to championing financial education and empowerment for a global fanbase, inspiring a meaningful shift in how supporters engage with personal finance by equipping them with the knowledge, trust and confidence to make their money work.”

The agreement forms part of XTB’s expanding sports sponsorship strategy as the company increases its presence across major international properties. Its portfolio includes partnerships with Italian football club SSC Napoli and global basketball governing body FIBA, while Swedish football icon Zlatan Ibrahimović serves as a global brand ambassador.

For FC Porto, the deal adds another international brand to its commercial portfolio and strengthens the club’s ability to leverage its global fanbase across sponsorship, content and engagement initiatives.

The partnership also arrives as XTB continues to expand its customer base and investment platform. The company surpassed 2.5 million clients in the first quarter of 2026, while client assets reached approximately €11.6 billion.

The three-year partnership gives XTB a long-term platform within Portuguese and European football, while FC Porto gain a global financial services partner as the club continues to strengthen its commercial proposition ahead of the 2028-29 season.
