FC Bayern Munich have strengthened their technology strategy through a new three-year global partnership with Wonderful. The artificial intelligence company has been appointed the German football club’s official enterprise AI partner until 2029.

The partnership will see Wonderful’s AI agent technology integrated into FC Bayern’s existing technology ecosystem, with the initial application focused on improving digital ticketing and matchday fan support. The AI-powered service will help fans resolve ticket access and account-related queries more quickly, particularly during periods of heightened demand around home fixtures.

The initiative marks a move by Bayern to apply enterprise AI directly to operational and customer-service functions rather than limiting their use to content, marketing or fan-engagement applications. The club and Wonderful also intend to explore additional enterprise use cases throughout the partnership.

Rouven Kasper, FC Bayern’s Board Member for Marketing and Sales, said, “At FC Bayern, we are constantly looking for new ways to improve the experience for our fans while simultaneously strengthening our behind-the-scenes processes. Our partnership with Wonderful allows us to leverage the potential of enterprise AI through agents – starting with fan services and support on matchday when it matters most. We look forward to working together to develop effective solutions that meet FC Bayern’s high service standards.”

Bar Winkler, Co-Founder and CEO of Wonderful, added, “Wonderful is delighted to partner with FC Bayern as it accelerates its enterprise AI ambitions. FC Bayern sets the standard for excellence on the pitch, across the organisation, and now with AI. We’re proud to help extend that standard of FC Bayern.”

The agreement adds another technology-focused relationship to Bavarians’s expanding commercial portfolio. The club has recently extended and added partnerships across several categories, including its expanded relationship with Miele, international partnership with LONGi, long-term agreement with LEDVANCE, extended collaboration with Coca-Cola, and partnerships with Bitpanda and ERL Immobiliengruppe.

The Wonderful agreement comes as the club begins another major European campaign. The Reds are competing in the 2026-27 UEFA Champions League, alongside their domestic Bundesliga commitments, creating a substantial volume of matchday interactions in which digital customer-service infrastructure can play an increasingly important role.

For Wonderful, the partnership provides a prominent global sports reference at a time when enterprises are moving from AI experimentation towards production-scale deployment. For FC Bayern, meanwhile, the deal signals a broader ambition to make AI part of the club’s operational infrastructure, with ticketing support serving as the first practical application.
