FC Barcelona strike sponsorship agreement with ZENB

The company will be the first to be the team's official gluten-free food partner for four years.

The LaLiga outfit, FC Barcelona, has inked a new sponsorship agreement with a gluten-free food brand, ZENB. Following this deal, the brand has been named the club’s latest regional partner until 2026.

The company will be the first to be the team’s official gluten-free food partner for four years, and the two will work collaboratively on mutual activations in Japan, the United States, and the United Kingdom.

Juli Guiu, FC Barcelona Marketing Area Vice President, said, “We are very happy to begin this partnership with ZENB, a leading company in the gluten-free foods sector with a solid history and tradition of over 200 years. A company that is opening up new markets, building on its success in the United Kingdom, the United States of America and Japan, with whom we will collaborate to inform our fans about new dietary options”.

Guiu and Nobuhisa Hamana, CEO of ZENB Global, reached an agreement in the Spotify Camp Nou Box.

In its contribution, the corporation will also co-produce content focusing on the food patterns of the first team, with a heavy emphasis on the development of digital stories published on the club’s social media channels in order to interact and connect with Barça fans.

Hamana, commented, “At ZENB, we feel a responsibility to develop plant-powered foods, such as pasta that benefit people and those mindful of the planet, and part of that is having a deep understanding of their health value and functionality.”

A further first for the club was the announcement last month that Drake’s logo would appear on the front of the kit in El Clasico against arch-rivals Real Madrid.

As part of the partnership with Spotify, this was the first time the team restored its partner’s logo with an artist’s logo, with the goal of ‘bringing football and music together.’
