FC Barcelona sign a multi-year deal with cryptocurrency firm WhiteBIT

WhiteBIT has been named the official cryptocurrency exchange partner of FC Barcelona across all teams.

The LaLiga team, FC Barcelona have signed the dotted lines with the cryptocurrency firm from Ukraine, WhiteBIT.

In this development, WhiteBIT has been named the official cryptocurrency exchange partner of FC Barcelona across all teams, including men’s and women’s football, handball, basketball, roller hockey and futsal. The arrangement has been inked for three years unit June 2025.

The cryptocurrency firm from Ukraine, which was founded in 2018, will kick-start this newly signed sponsorship by making digital content primarily on the crypto industry and football, with the intention of driving engagement among the Blaugrana fans. WhiteBIT’s branding will be featured on the large LED screens at FC Barcelona’s home stadium, Spotify Camp Nou.

The agreement also covers the FC Barcelona eSports team with WhiteBIT curating content before and after live competitions. The logo of the cryptocurrency company will be present on backdrops during the events.

Juli Guiu, FC Barcelona Vice-President of Marketing, said, “We are pleased to announce this new partnership, another example of the Club’s commitment to innovation. Additionally, this is a partnership that will help us to continue growing and developing our global commercial expansion strategy, strengthening the Club further while remaining a benchmark in an increasingly competitive field.”

Volodymyr Nosov, WhiteBIT Chief Executive, said, “The start of our warm relationship with the legendary Barça as an official crypto exchange partner is a significant step for the community as a whole, and for us it is also a great pride and responsibility.”

FC Barcelona finished well before the international break as they managed to acquire the top spot on the Spanish top-flight table with 37 points.
