FC Barcelona renews contract with SK Lubricants

The renewal of the collaboration has been made possible because of the office that is situated in Hong Kong.

The Spanish giants, FC Barcelona has announced a renewal of their partnership with SK Lubricants for three seasons as the official engine oil partner. The brand from Korea will continue its association with the club until the end of the 2024 season.

The deal, which was first signed back in 2018, was for South Korea, China, Thailand, Russia Vietnam and in these years, it has been combined with the growth to new territories. This means the development has further included Armenia, Moldova, Turkmenistan, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, Ukraine, Belarus, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan Georgia, Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania as FC Barcelona’s official engine oil partner.

The renewal of the collaboration has been made possible because of the office, which is situated in Hong Kong. Their main goal is to promote FC Barcelona in Asia Pacific markets.

The relationship between FC Barcelona and SK Lubricants is built on shared values to accomplish the best performance and has contributed to combining the leadership position of the SK ZIC motor oil brand in Korea. The growth in Russia, China and South East Asia is the target for both entities.

The content that will be shared across different countries will go through different platforms and social networks such as Facebook, Weibo and WeChat in different languages.

The first brand in South Korea to have introduced a lubricant brand concept, SK Lubricants, back in 1995 has been no.1 brand for 23 years in Korean Brand Power Index and was even selected as a ‘National Brand’ by the Russian Chamber of Commerce and the National Brand Selection Committee.
