The LALIGA club, FC Barcelona and Aramark, a global leader in food, facilities, and uniforms, have announced an expanded partnership.
The agreement has solidified Aramark’s role as a key player in the club’s digital transformation and fan experience.
Beyond its continued position as the official catering provider of the club, Aramark is making a significant investment in Bridgeburg Invest, a Barça Vision shareholder. This strategic move positions Aramark as a pivotal partner in FC Barcelona’s Web3, NFT, and metaverse initiatives.
As the club embarks on its ambitious Espai Barça redevelopment project, Aramark will take on the role of official catering partner. This expanded partnership aims to enhance the matchday experience for fans through elevated culinary offerings and hospitality services at the new stadium complex.
The expanded partnership marks a significant milestone for both organizations. It is expected to generate substantial revenue for FC Barcelona, accelerate its digital growth, and foster deeper engagement with fans worldwide.
Aramark, a global leader in food, facilities, and uniforms, operates in 19 countries and employs over 248,000 people worldwide. The company has a strong presence in Spain, managing more than 150 large-scale entertainment and leisure events annually. Recently, the American food service and facilities services provider inked a partnership with the Premier League (PL) club, Everton FC.
The partnership aligns seamlessly with Blaugrana’s vision of transforming its facilities into global innovation hubs. The Espai Barça project, a massive redevelopment of Spotify Camp Nou and the surrounding area aims to create a unique and personalized experience for fans.
The expanded partnership comes as FC Barcelona continue to strengthen their commercial portfolio. The club has recently renewed agreements with sponsors such as ZIC, Iluminación Disano, 1XBET, CUPRA and EBC Financial Group. Additionally, Spotify Camp Nou has formed partnerships with fever, Figueras Seating, Fortinet, TK Elevator, EHEIM Möbel, and Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE).
As the Barcelona team prepares for the upcoming 2024-25 Primera División, the club aims to challenge for the title with the addition of Dani Olmo to its squad. Their campaign kicks off on August 18 against Valencia CF.
