Fastbreak AI has secured a multi-year partnership with Lega Serie A, with Italy’s top-flight football league adopting the company’s artificial intelligence-powered scheduling platform as it seeks to navigate the growing complexity of modern football operations.
Under the agreement, Lega Serie A will implement Fastbreak Pro Schedule, an advanced fixture-planning solution designed to streamline the creation of league calendars while balancing a wide range of sporting, commercial and logistical requirements. The platform leverages artificial intelligence to evaluate thousands of scheduling scenarios, helping competition organisers optimise fixture placement, manage operational constraints and preserve competitive integrity throughout the season.
The partnership comes at a time when football scheduling has become increasingly challenging due to expanding international tournaments, congested club calendars, broadcaster demands and heightened focus on player welfare. Fastbreak’s technology is designed to account for factors including stadium availability, travel logistics, domestic and international competition commitments, broadcast requirements and club-specific requests.
