An innovative sports experience platform, FanToPark has renewed its title sponsorship of Barefoot India’s 13th Annual Sports Quiz Fest, reinforcing its commitment to strengthening India’s sporting ecosystem by supporting programs that bring sports communities together outside of the pitch. The event, which is scheduled to take place from August 28 to 30 in New Delhi, is projected to attract over 500 people, bringing the total number of participants to more than 10,000 since it began in 2012.

FanToPark continues to invest in experiences that encourage more involvement and engagement in sports, guided by its aim of creating India’s No. 1 sports ecosystem via chances to travel, play, and learn. Its sustained partnership with Barefoot India for the second year in a row illustrates the company’s dedication to developing meaningful platforms that promote sports culture, foster learning, and contribute to its overarching goal of making India a sporting nation.

The event will get off with the Curtain Raiser Pub Quiz on August 28 at Fort City Brewing in Hauz Khas, presented by Richa Bhatia and Aniket Mishra. The main festival will be held at the India Islamic Cultural Centre on August 29 and 30, and will feature six flagship quizzes led by some of India’s leading sports quizmasters: the Women in Sports Quiz by Somnath Chanda, the India in Sports Quiz by Sumantra Sarathi Datta and Nikhil Sarkar, the Football Quiz by Deepanjan Deb, the Cricket Quiz by Titash Banerjea, the Sports Quiz by Prithwish Datta, and the Solo Sports Quiz by Preetham Upadhaya.

The six main quizzes will provide a total prize pool of INR 1.80 lakh. Winners will receive INR 15,000, runners-up INR 10,000, and third-place finishers INR 5,000 in each quiz. The winners of the Curtain Raiser Pub Quiz will get adidas and Hachette hampers, and all prizes will be awarded on the festival’s closing day.

Joy Bhattacharjya, patron of Barefoot – the Annual Sports Quiz Fest, said, “Barefoot is an event like no other. Year after year, it brings together sports enthusiasts from all over the country and sometimes from other countries for what is essentially a two-day festival for all things sports and trivia. I am delighted to see the event grow and would like to extend a warm welcome to everyone sitting for the quizzes in this edition.”

Founder and CEO, FanToPark, Amit Purohit, said, “At FanToPark, we have always been committed to building a stronger sporting culture in India. We have been following the growth of Barefoot for a long time and believe it is one of the best platforms for us to engage with both our existing and potential target audience. It is a place where some of the sharpest sporting minds come together to test their knowledge, and the passion for sport on display is truly infectious. We are delighted to continue our association with Barefoot India and support an initiative that contributes towards our shared vision of making India a sporting nation.”

The Barefoot Quizzing Festival, founded in 2012, aims to inspire sports enthusiasts to study disciplines outside of mainstream options and celebrate the diversity of sport through competition, curiosity, and education. The event continues to bring together players, quizmasters, partners, and sports lovers from all over the nation, cementing its place as one of India’s longest-running festivals of sports knowledge and trivia.
