The professional ice hockey league in North America, the Professional Women’s Hockey League (PWHL) has announced a partnership with the sports-tech firm and online gaming company, FanDuel.
As part of the deal, the brand has become the league’s official sportsbook partner and exclusive in-app streaming partner in the United States.
This cooperation provides hockey fans with unprecedented access to the PWHL, with FanDuel broadcasting up to 90 regular season and playoff games live on the FanDuel app. Fans can watch and wager on their favourite teams and sportsmen throughout the season, with options like as player prop bets, novelty markets, and Same Game Parlays all in one spot. The agreement extends beyond the app, with FanDuel being an essential component of PWHL games beginning with the first game of the season.
Dale Hooper, General Manager of FanDuel Canada, said, “FanDuel is proud to partner with the PWHL and support the league’s incredible athletes. This partnership is about creating a new era of fan engagement—one that brings hockey closer to fans while helping grow the visibility of women’s professional sports.”
As with other partnerships, FanDuel prioritises responsible play and provides PWHL fans with a comprehensive set of tools to assist regulate play, including as Deposit Limits, Wager Limits, and more.
With this agreement, FanDuel solidifies its position as the finest sportsbook for fans to connect with their favourite teams and athletes, bringing them closer to action and women’s hockey than ever before.
Over the years, FanDuel has also partnered with numerous sporting entities, such as Boston Celtics, Carolina Panthers, NASCAR, WTA, ONE Championship, WNBA and more.
