FanCode, India’s leading digital sports platform, has obtained exclusive digital rights for the much-anticipated second season of the professional arm-wrestling competition in India, Pro Panja League (PPL).
Following a historic initial season that witnessed huge growth in viewership and fan engagement, the league returns to FanCode for its second season, bringing the sport of ArmWrestling closer to fans across India. Season 2, which will take place in the historically significant city of Gwalior, will feature returning favourites from Season 1 as well as intriguing new talent vying for the Panja table headlines.
The league will use an TATA Indian Premier League (IPL)-style franchise model, with teams from throughout the country competing in high-octane matches over 17 days. The inaugural season saw Kochi KD’s proclaimed as winners, and it was a resounding success. Season 2 seeks to lift the bar even higher, capitalising on the excitement and growing popularity of ArmWrestling.
Parvinn Dabass, Co-founder of Pro Panja League, said, “Our aim has always been to make Arm Wrestling accessible to every Indian household and FanCode’s incredible reach which we saw in the first season is a shot in the arm for us. This partnership aligns perfectly with that mission. With the growing popularity of the sport, we are expecting to reach newer audiences this time too.”
Yannick Colaco, Co-founder of FanCode, stated, “We’re delighted to continue our partnership and support the growth of the Pro Panja League. This partnership reflects our commitment to championing indigenous sports and taking them to fans across every corner of the country. The league showcases raw power, passion, and pride – and we’re thrilled to bring that energy to viewers nationwide.”
While FanCode will provide live streaming coverage, Sony Sports Network will broadcast the league, which is beginning on August 5, to television audiences.
FanCode recently also obtained streaming rights for World Championship of Legends 2025. FanCode will exclusively stream the action in India, giving cricket fans unparalleled access to one of the world’s largest and most entertaining legends leagues.
