FanCode, India’s leading digital sports platform, has obtained exclusive four-year broadcast rights for the Saudi Pro League (SPL).
The arrangement additionally involve broadcast rights to the Saudi Super Cup and Saudi Kings Cup in India, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, and Nepal.
The partnership will begin with the 2025-26 season and last through the 2028-29 season, providing fans throughout the region with unparalleled access to top-tier Saudi football. The first game to be aired as part of the agreement will be the match between Al Hilal and Al Riyadh on August 29. Later, Al Nassr will face off against Al Taawoum.
According to the agreement, FanCode will stream over 150 matches each year, including at least one match starring Cristiano Ronaldo‘s Al Nassr each week. Other notable games will feature powerful teams like Al Hilal, Al Ittihad, and Al Ahly. The Saudi Pro League season spans from August to May.
The league’s worldwide expansion has been spectacular, particularly in South Asia, due to to the injection of world-class players. Along with Ronaldo, international talents like Karim Benzema, Ngolo Kante, Darwin Nunez, Sadio Mane, and Joao Felix now play in the competition. Recent arrivals such as Kingsley Coman, Inigo Martinez, Ivan Toney, Joao Cancelo, and Theo Hernandez have increased the club’s competitiveness and global appeal.
