FanCode, India’s leading digital sports platform, is set to stream the 31st Sultan Azlan Shah Cup, scheduled to be held in Ipoh, Malaysia from November 23 till November 30.
This year’s edition of one of world hockey’s elite invitational tournaments will pit five-time champions India against past Olympic winners Belgium, Asian powerhouses Korea, hosts Malaysia, Canada, and New Zealand.
Captain Sanjay will be leading India’s squad, which features Amit Rohidas, Jugraj Singh, and Dilpreet Singh, among others. Head coach Craig Fulton expects a solid performance from the squad ahead of the World Cup and Asian Games next year. India last won the Sultan Azlan Shah Cup in 2010 and finished as runners-up in 2019.
India will begin their campaign against Korea on November 23, before facing Belgium in the main game on November 24th. They will next face Malaysia on November 26th, followed by New Zealand on November 27 and Canada on November 29. The teams will participate in a round-robin format, with the top two teams advancing to the final on November 30.
