Formula 1 has announced a significant expansion of its luxury brand partnerships, naming Whispering Angel, the globally acclaimed rosé from Château d’Esclans, as its official rosé.
This elevated collaboration further strengthens Formula 1’s existing 10-year global agreement with Moët Hennessy, a division of LVMH, established in October of last year.
Whispering Angel has been a fixture in F1’s premium hospitality, particularly the exclusive Paddock Club, for the past 15 years. This formalization now places it alongside other esteemed LVMH brands like Moët & Chandon (Official Champagne) and Belvedere Vodka as official partners. This strategic alignment highlights Formula 1’s dedication to providing an unparalleled premium experience for its worldwide audience.
The partnership aims to seamlessly blend the elegance and excellence synonymous with Whispering Angel into the dynamic atmosphere of the F1 Grand Prix. Following successful activations at earlier 2025 races in Miami, Imola, Monaco, and Barcelona, Whispering Angel will continue to be prominently featured in premium hospitality areas at key events throughout the remainder of the 2025 calendar. These include iconic circuits such as Silverstone, Spa, Budapest, Zandvoort, Monza, Singapore, Austin, Mexico City, São Paulo, and Las Vegas.
Speaking on the occasion, Emily Prazer, Chief Commercial Officer at Formula 1, said, “Today is another special moment for our landmark partnership with LVMH as we welcome Whispering Angel to the Formula 1 family as the Official Rosé Partner. This perfect partnership brings together the pinnacle of motorsport with a brand known for its sophistication, elegance, and excellence and unites us on our joint mission to deliver fantastic experiences for our fans. This season we have already seen Whispering Angel integrate seamlessly into our exclusive hospitality areas, and together we will deliver moments that further define Formula 1 as the standard bearer for luxury in sport and entertainment.”
Sacha Lichine, Founder and CEO of Whispering Angel, added, “Having been served in the F1 Paddock Club during the past 15 years, we are thrilled to bring Whispering Angel to the next level through this exciting partnership while accelerating towards the Chequered Flag and crossing the Finishing Line.”
Whispering Angel, produced by Château d’Esclans in Provence, France, was founded by Sacha Lichine in 2006 with the ambitious vision of elevating rosé wine to a serious, world-class category. Crafted primarily from Grenache, Cinsault, and Rolle (Vermentino) grapes, the wine is celebrated for its distinctive pale colour, crisp and rewarding taste profile, and dry, smooth finish. Its production involves meticulous night harvesting to preserve freshness, followed by vinification in stainless steel to maintain its purity and precision. With a global presence in over 100 countries, Whispering Angel has spearheaded the “Rosé Renaissance” and become a benchmark for modern rosé.
This partnership further solidifies Formula 1’s position at the intersection of high-performance sport and luxury lifestyle, promising an enhanced and refined experience for race attendees worldwide. It also reinforces F1’s standing as a premier platform for brands seeking to engage a highly engaged and affluent global audience, joining a distinguished roster of partners including PepsiCo, MSC Cruise, PwC, Disney, Belvedere Vodka, Allwyn, Barilla, ALT Sports Data, Tag Heuer, Louis Vuitton, and Moët Hennessy.
