Extreme E onboards Jackson Swiss Partners as exclusive foreign exchange supplier

Jackson Swiss Partners will use its successful, debt-free, and lean company model to offer Extreme E customised FX hedging solutions.

The sport-for-purpose electric racing series, Extreme E has announced a collaboration with Jackson Swiss Partners, a boutique firm specialising in foreign exchange risk management.

As part of the deal, the brand has been named Extreme E’s official global supplier and exclusive foreign exchange supplier.

Under the terms of the agreement, Jackson Swiss Partners will use its successful, debt-free, and lean company model to offer Extreme E customised FX hedging solutions. The company was chosen by the electric off-road racing series due to its dedication to financial responsibility and client protection.

Ali Russell, Managing Director of Extreme E, said, “We are thrilled to welcome Jackson Swiss Partners as an official global supplier for Extreme E. Their expertise and dedication to client success perfectly complement our mission to drive positive change through sport. Jackson Swiss Partners are widely regarded as an agile organisation and attentive to detail, and we look forward to collaborating as we continue to grow our international racing series.”

According to Extreme E, the boutique business relies on having a thorough grasp of the objectives of each customer and the competitive landscape, which complements its operations.

Furthermore, Extreme E claimed that Jackson Swiss’s unique ability to offer customised FX hedging solutions that resemble insurance policies rather than traditional trading tactics was an important consideration in the company’s selection of partners.

Adam Wright, Founder and CEO at Jackson Swiss Partners, commented, “As a financial services business, we are always trying to be different and always trying to do the right thing. In an industry where greed is commonplace and transparency is not; we exist to counteract that! We are finding that by behaving as good, honest, and decent people we are making serious waves in our industry. We are a values and cultures-based business and we take much of that from our sporting background. One of the other areas that we aim to differentiate ourselves in our market is through our commitment to climate change, with the support of our ambassador, polar, desert and vast water explorer; Rosie Stancer.

“With this in mind, I could not think of a more appropriate and exciting global brand partnership than working alongside Extreme E, with their magnificent team and everything they stand for.”

Extreme E initiated its global exposure effort earlier this year. The electric racing series renewed its agreement with Chile’s Canal 13 broadcaster and established a media rights agreement with Warner Bros. Discovery.

The series’ goal of increasing global awareness of climate change—to which Jackson Swiss Partners intends to contribute—was at the centre of the most recent transactions.

Bryan Redpath, Head of Partnerships, Jackson Swiss Partners, said, “We at Jackson Swiss Partners are delighted to become the official global supplier to Extreme E. The connection on raising awareness of climate change across the globe is something we fully support and cannot wait to be part of this exciting journey. One of the most exciting parts to the partnership is seeing the male and female drivers compete with and against each other in a team environment to become the overall winners. We cannot wait to be part of this amazing series for the long-term growth of Extreme E.”
