After finishing in the semi-final spot in the last edition, Dabang Delhi KC, one of the marquee franchises in the Pro Kabaddi League (PKL), will hope to go few steps up and clinch the crown in the upcoming season. The side’s Season 12 opener comes on September 2 against Bengaluru Bulls, setting the stage for what promises to be another high-stakes kabaddi season.
Delhi will once again rely on superstar raider Naveen Kumar to crush opponents with rapid raids. Furthermore, the supporting cast also seems good, with Ashu Malik willing to share the raiding burden. Vishal Bhardwaj and Krishan Dhull will want to seal down the corners and give the stability required for a championship charge. Delhi’s most powerful weapon is its offensive strength, but their defence must fire regularly if they are to replicate their Season 8 exploits. If Naveen is healthy and the squad finds balance, Delhi is a great chance for a deep playoff run.
