After a summer filled with intriguing signings and a few matchdays of European league football action, the focus is all shifted to this season’s UEFA Champions League, which kicks off today, September 6 at 10:15 PM IST with Chelsea taking on Dinamo Zagreb.

The biggest clubs from Europe’s top leagues will go head-to-head for the biggest continental award. Last season, the club led by Carlo Ancelotti, Real Madrid, won the title after defeating Liverpool in the final at Stade de France. European powerhouses such as Bayern Munich, Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) and Manchester City will all be looking forward to the group stage and will be hoping for a seamless beginning to their European journey in the 2022/23 edition.
