The World Padel League will be aired on India’s top premium sports broadcasting network, Sony Sports Network. 

The World Padel League (WPL) is all set to make its Indian debut in Mumbai’s Nesco Centre on February 5, 2025.

This premier tournament will include 32 of the world’s top padel players, divided into four teams: Sohail Khan Ent. Panthers, SG Pipers Cheetahs, Game Changers Lions, and Vernost Jaguars. The tournament, which runs until February 8, will include tough competition and end in a final match between top teams.

The WPL will begin with an exciting match between Vernost Jaguars and Sohail Khan Ent. Panthers. SG Pipers Cheetahs will face Game Changers Lions in the opening day’s second match.

Each squad, made up of outstanding male and female athletes, boasts a powerful lineup eager to compete for dominance. The competition, which will be held in a single round-robin style, will last four days and culminate in a spectacular final that will crown the eventual champion.

Matches will be divided into four sets, with a new scoring system and tie-breaker regulations meant to add excitement. With a combination of men’s doubles, women’s doubles, and mixed doubles, spectators will see a wide range of skill and interesting pairings on the court. The winning teams will be determined by innovative scoring methods, ensuring a fierce battle till the conclusion.
