Everything to know about TATA Mumbai Marathon 2025

The Tata Mumbai Marathon (TMM), an annual marathon event held in Mumbai, is all set to hold its 20th edition on January 19, 2025.

This event, organised by Procam International, is a World Athletics Gold Label Road Race that draws runners from around the world. The marathon course commences from the iconic Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus and takes runners through some of Mumbai’s most famous attractions, including both urban and seaside landscape. Participants may anticipate great race organisation, passionate crowd support, and a chance to run in one of the world’s best marathons.

The marathon will feature numerous events, including an amateur portion, a half-marathon, the Police Cup, the Open 10K, elite races for men and women, Champions with Disability, the Senior Citizens’ Run, and the Dream Run.

Over 12,000 amateur runners have registered for the full marathon, with over 15,000 taking part in the half-marathon.

The Open 10K is expected to include over 8,500 runners, the Dream Run will have slightly more than 25,000, the Senior Citizens’ Run will have 1,894 participants, and Champions with Disability (with a companion) will have around 1,100 racers.

While there will be 15 medical outposts alongside the route and three medical base camps, there will also be six mini-medical camps within the venues along the way.

Notably, the Western and Central Railways approved special trains on the suburban route, with over 7,000 volunteers in place.
