Everything to know about Abu Dhabi T10 2024

Fans can watch Abu Dhabi T10 live on Star Sports and FanCode.

The shortest format in cricket, Abu Dhabi T10 is set to be back for its 2024 edition tonight, November 21, with Team Abu Dhabi vs Ajman Bolts being the first game at 3:30 PM IST.

With the inclusion of UP Nawabs and Ajman Bolts, the Abu Dhabi T10 currently includes ten teams. The 10-over competition has gained prominence over the years, particularly after shifting to Abu Dhabi. The event will run until December 2 at the Zayed Cricket Stadium. Since matches are only 90 minutes long, viewers can easily find time in their schedules to see the world’s top players play.

Although T10 leagues have begun to develop all over the world, the initially formed Abu Dhabi league has drawn T20 superstars from all over the world due to its convenient travel schedule and October–November window. With players like Jos Buttler, Kieron Pollard, Dinesh Karthik, Jonny Bairstow, Marcus Stoinis, and Lockie Ferguson, the eighth edition is sure to be an absolute blast.

The Abu Dhabi T10 League will include three to four games every day. If there is a tripleheader, the matches will start at 5 PM, 7:15 PM, and 9:30 PM IST. If there are four matches in a single day, the first one will start at 2:45 PM IST, and the remaining matches will start at the same time.

New York Strikers are the reigning champions, and they will be keen to keep the crown. Deccan Gladiators, who won the championship back-to-back in 2021 and 2022, appear to represent an excellent squad on paper.

Moreover, adding to the local flair is the national capital’s own team, Team Abu Dhabi, which will also aim to end their tournament drought with an impressive showing.
