The Premier League (PL) unit, Everton FC have signed a record-breaking sponsorship agreement with the casino and sports betting firm, Stake.com. As per the deal, Stake.com will serve as the club’s new multi-year key sponsor.
According to Everton, the transaction is the most valuable sponsorship deal in the club’s 144-year history.
As per the terms of the deal, the brand logo will appear on the front of the men’s and women’s playing kits, as well as on screens and media backgrounds at Goodison Park and Finch Farm and the club’s digital channels. Stake.com will be taking over from the team’s current partner Cazoo after the partnership ends this month.
This is the second deal of the sports betting firm in the English top flight. In the previous season, the brand’s logo appeared in front of the Watford jersey. Since Watford were relegated to the second division, Everton will be the only team they will be sponsoring in the top division this season.
