Everton FC net Aramark UK as culinary experience partner for new stadium in north Liverpool

Aramark UK seeks to transform Everton FC's customer experience by leveraging solutions that have been successfully implemented throughout the world.

The Premier League (PL) club, Everton FC have inked a partnership with Aramark UK, a leading food service partner.

With this deal, the brand has been named the official culinary experience partner at the club’s new stadium, Bramley-Moore Dock in north Liverpool. A long-term association, which will get underway in 2025, is Aramark UK’s first with a Premier League club.

To make the stadium a popular destination in north Liverpool, Aramark UK will be able to accommodate up to 52,888 people on match days, with an emphasis on a 365-day offer owing to this new agreement, which aims to reinvent the stadium experience in the UK market.

Helen Milligan-Smith, CEO and President, Aramark UK, said, “We are thrilled to be chosen as the global partner for Everton FC. Our shared commitment to delivering remarkable experiences means we are developing something truly extraordinary for the launch of the new stadium.”

Aramark UK seeks to transform stadium service speed and customer experience by leveraging solutions that have been successfully implemented throughout the world. The team intends to offer unforgettable experiences on match days and beyond by displaying a variety of specifically curated food and beverage ideas that are both adaptable and on-trend inside the stadium’s enormous new fan zone, The Plaza. With the objective of establishing a digital-first stadium, Aramark UK will integrate market-leading technologies to reduce wait times and improve visitor experience.

Frictionless operations will be implemented at crucial spots throughout the stadium, such as self-service beer systems, realistic digital hospitality zones, and virtual “dark kitchen” delivery and collecting areas. The efforts will result in an inclusive and dynamic location for all, where fans and guests can enjoy high-quality food and drink provided quickly.

Richard Kenyon, Everton’s Chief Commercial and Communications Officer, commented, “This is a landmark partnership for the club, and we are delighted to welcome Aramark as a Founding Partner. Aramark understand what goes into and what is required to deliver high profile and multi-purpose venues. As we look forward to the Club’s bright future at our new home, we are focused on working together to deliver the right type of experience for every fan and every visitor, both within the stadium and on The Plaza.”

“It’s important to us that we go above and beyond to forge strong connections not only with our venues, but with the wider community, too,” said Milligan-Smith. “The introduction of a new social enterprise program is a great example of this, and we look forward to working with the Club to champion local produce and provide training and job opportunities to local people across Liverpool.”

Aramark UK and Everton FC have formed an association based on community spirit and opportunity. More than 1,200 jobs will be produced at the stadium, and broader development projects will be launched, such as a new social enterprise with Everton in the Community (EITC) to promote career possibilities and support local food and drink producers.
