Eurosport to continue live coverage of MXGP till 2022

Infront Moto Racing and Eurosport had decided to continue their partnership till 2022. Eurosport will continue to broadcast FIM Motocross World Championship during the next three seasons.

The renewal of the collaboration between MXGP and Eurosport will see all the best coverage of the FIM Motocross World Championship. MXGP and MX2 races will be shown on Eurosport and Eurosport app including the last triple-header of the 2020 MXGP Season.

The tripleheader comprises MXGP of Trentino, MXGP of Pieramurata, and the MXGP of Garda Trentino in early November. The season usually lasts for seven months from March to September. However, the pandemic disrupted the 2020 campaign.

Eurosport agreed to the deal with Infront Moto Racing, an arm of the Infront agency. Infront Moto Racing manages the exclusive television, marketing, and promotional worldwide rights to MXGP.

The level of competition this season has been intriguing as the top riders in MXGP and MX2 have been intensely battling for this year’s title. With four GP’s remaining, Team HRC’s Tim Gajser and Red Bull KTM Factory Racing’s Tom Vialle lead in their respective categories. The fight for the title is expected to go down the wire.

Infront Moto Racing also commercializes the rights to the FIM Motocross of Nations, the FIM Women’s Motocross World Championship, the FIM Junior Motocross World Championship, the FIM Snowcross World Championship, the Motocross European Championship, and the Motocross of European Nations.

Earlier in October, Eurosport Events also agreed to a ten-year deal to become the global promoter of all FIM speedway events.
