The European T20 Premier League (ETPL), an ICC-approved T20 league co-owned by Abhishek Bachchan and supported by Cricket IrelandCricket Scotland, and the Royal Dutch Cricket Association, has named Tata Consultancy Services (TCS), a worldwide leader in IT services, consulting, and business solutions, as its Digital Transformation Partner.

In a multi-year deal, ETPL and TCS will work together to create an AI-powered digital ecosystem that improves the experience for fans, players, commercial partners, and stakeholders. ETPL and TCS will collaborate to build a linked digital ecosystem that improves all aspects of the league, from fan interaction and commercial partnerships to player development and grassroots cricket, using AI, analytics, and new technologies.

The partnership reinforces ETPL’s commitment to launching Europe’s first ICC-sanctioned franchise T20 league on innovative technology, while building a year-round digital community drives long-term growth. The ETPL, which will run from August 26 to September 20, 2026, will feature six city-based franchises representing Ireland, Scotland, and the Netherlands, with matches held in Voorburg, Netherlands, and Malahide, Ireland.

TCS, as the Digital Transformation Partner, will help ETPL achieve its digital goals in areas such as fan engagement, ticketing, live match experiences, personalised content, and the league’s digital platforms, while also creating new opportunities for commercial partners through data-driven insights and digital innovation.

The collaboration indicates a shared desire to use technology to influence the future of cricket in Europe. As the ETPL grows, both organisations will look into how artificial intelligence, data analytics, and future technologies may boost fan engagement, expand commercial opportunities, and create new digital experiences that support the league’s long-term ambition.
