SPORTFIVE has supported eToro in securing a multi-year partnership spanning four major Ligue 1 McDonald’s clubs, underlining the growing shift towards multi-asset and multi-club sponsorship strategies in European football.

Under the agreement, eToro, a global investment and social trading platform, has partnered with LOSC Lille, Olympique Lyonnais, AS Monaco, and Olympique de Marseille. The deal was structured and supported by SPORTFIVE, a leading international sports marketing agency.

The partnership delivers a broad portfolio of rights designed to maximise reach, visibility, and brand affinity across French football. As part of the agreement, eToro will feature on the sleeve of LOSC Lille’s match kit, while also holding official partner status with Lyon, Monaco, and Marseille. The combination of assets allows eToro to establish a consistent national presence while engaging with diverse fan bases linked to some of Ligue 1’s most established clubs.

Commenting on the agreement, Benjamin Deblicker, SVP Sales at SPORTFIVE, said, “This partnership with eToro demonstrates the relevance of multi-asset strategies, which enable brands to establish a long-term presence within a sports ecosystem while optimising impact and consistency at a national level. At SPORTFIVE, we firmly believe that this approach represents a genuine strategy for the future for advertisers looking to stand out in premium and highly competitive environments.”

Valerie Kalifa, Marketing Director France at eToro, said, “At eToro, we’ve built a global investing community where users connect to share, learn, and grow together. Through this partnership with Ligue 1’s most prestigious clubs, we aim to combine the worlds of investing and football to bring people together around a shared passion and offer them more opportunities for financial education.

The collaboration reflects a broader evolution in sponsorship strategy, as brands move beyond single-club or logo-driven deals towards integrated, multi-club approaches that deliver strong exposure, varied audiences, and large-scale activation opportunities. This is a model SPORTFIVE continues to actively develop and structure for its partners across global sport.

For eToro, the agreement further strengthens its long-standing association with football, building on existing partnerships across European leagues. The strategy reinforces football’s role as a vehicle for mass reach and brand trust, while supporting a shift towards more educational and community-focused engagement with modern sports audiences.

The partnership underscores a wider trend across the sports business landscape, where clubs, brands, and agencies are increasingly prioritising integrated collaborations designed to generate sustained value well beyond traditional sponsorship visibility.
