EMotorad, a Pune-based electric vehicle (EV) startup focused on e-cycles, has revealed an ad campaign ‘Dil Se Aawaaz Ayegi’ featuring its brand ambassador and former Indian captain, Mahendra Singh Dhoni.
The advertisement highlights EMotorad’s best-selling product, the Doodle V3, a folding fat-tyred e-cycle that offers adaptability and performance. The Doodle V3 has a changeable battery, a range of over 60 km, a top speed of 25 kmph, and five riding modes, making it suitable for both urban commuters and adventurers.
MS Dhoni appears in the advertisement in a garage surrounded by numerous bikes, copying their distinct noises such as ‘vroom vroom’ and ‘vaun vaun’. When Dhoni asks, “What sound will your cycle make?” the commercial sparks interest. An EMotorad official says, “Dil se aawaaz ayegi,” and the scene transitions to Dhoni riding the e-cycle, going ‘weeeeeee’ ‘woooooooo’.
The ad struck a chord with viewers across the country, inspiring a resounding response to MS Dhoni and EMotorad’s second unique teamwork.
On the campaign, Aditya Oza, Co-founder and Chief Marketing Officer at EMotorad, said, “Aawaaz dil se aayegi’ is more than just a tagline; it’s how we envision riders would feel when they ride our e-cycle! With every campaign we create, we aim to instill the soul of the brand and express it through content. Good advertising evokes emotions, and that’s what our campaign is about.”
Following up on the success of the brand’s viral ‘Bole Jo Koyal’ campaign with MS Dhoni, EMotorad has now developed a follow-up with the slogan ‘Dil se awaaz ayegi’ that reflects the same passion.
