The Emirates Cricket Board (ECB) has signed a new sponsorship association with the an online news website for cricket, live scores and more, BJ Sports.
With this new signing, the company has been named as the official jersey sponsor of UAE Cricket team for the upcoming Asia Cup 2022 campaign.
Mubashshir Usmani, Emirates Cricket General Secretary, said; “UAE Cricket is pleased to welcome bj sports as our jersey sponsor for the Asia Cup event. As UAE cricket continues on its demanding playing calendar, agreements such as these help amplify our efforts and keep our brand in front of spectators, and supporters, who enjoy the dynamic pace and passion that is evident with Associate Cricket.”
The qualifier, which has already commenced in Oman on August 20, will feature UAE against Hong Kong, Kuwait, and Singapore. The winner of these matches will secure the one spot that is available to fight in the main event.
The tournament is set to begin on August 27 and will run until September 11. The winner of this qualifer round will gain the treasured place in Group A together with India and Pakistan.
