Dream11, the country’s leading fantasy gaming platform, has launched its campaign for the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2024, titled ‘Yeh Sabka Dream Hai’.
This campaign aims to capture the aspirations of cricket fans across the nation. It features a star-studded lineup of Team India players, including Rohit Sharma, Hardik Pandya, Ravindra Jadeja, Rinku Singh and Jasprit Bumrah. Ayesha Raza also joins the cast, adding a fresh perspective.
The campaign started today with a launch film on Dream11’s YouTube channel. This will be followed by three short films that will air on Disney+ Hotstar, Star Sports, and other digital platforms throughout the tournament.
The campaign was conceptualized and produced by DDB Mudra Group.
Commenting on the campaign, Vikrant Mudaliar, Chief Marketing Officer, of Dream Sports, said, “After an intense IPL season marked by team rivalries, the country now unites behind Team India for the World Cup. Our campaigns have consistently endeavoured to adopt a lighthearted approach, rooted in the love for sports which resonates with our users. ‘‘Yeh Sabka Dream Hai’ follows a similar treatment but has a flavour of its own. The campaign highlights the unwavering dedication and support of Indian mothers and the value of “ma ka aashirwad”. The talented Ayesha Raza beautifully captures the sentiments and hopes of our team lifting the cup. Above all, the campaign stays true to our ethos of pure passion for cricket, regardless of age or gender.”
Dream11’s commitment to cricket goes beyond this campaign. The Indian company is a Co-Presenting Sponsor on Star Sports and Disney+ Hotstar for the T20 World Cup broadcast, solidifying its position as a key player in the cricketing ecosystem. Additionally, Dream11 has been the lead sponsor for Team India since 2023, demonstrating its long-standing partnership with the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI).
This campaign follows Dream11’s successful Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024 campaign, “Team Se Bada Kuch Nahi” (Nothing is Bigger Than the Team). This continuity suggests Dream11 is carrying the momentum of fan engagement from the IPL into the World Cup season.
Dream11 is India’s biggest fantasy sports platform. Launched in 2008, it has become a household name, synonymous with the IPL. Users create virtual teams of real-life cricketers and earn points based on their on-field performances.
