LaLiga, Spain’s top division football league recently announced Dream11 as the league’s Official fantasy game partner in India. The deal has been retained by the two entities and will now run until the end of the 2023-24 season.
This season will also mark the start of the second year of the partnership between the two brands in India, which will focus on increasing the fandom quotient among all football enthusiasts across the country
Through this association, football fans in India will get an opportunity to engage deeply with the league and showcase their knowledge by creating their own virtual teams. The 7Cr+ users on Dream11 will enjoy an enhanced experience of creating a team and competing with each other.
Football is a growing category within fantasy sports in India and is gradually attracting eyeballs of Indian sports fans.
Last season, LaLiga witnessed a growth of about 125% in user participation on the Dream11 platform, when compared to the 2018/19 season. This year will be no different, since La Liga has always been at the forefront of adopting new means to reach a wider range of audience and transfer the emotion of football to millions of fans across India.
