Dorna Sports and FIM seal long-term collaboration

The renewed partnership between Dorna and the FIM has reaffirmed their shared commitment to the development and success of motorcycle racing.

In a monumental move that solidifies the future of MotoGP, Dorna Sports and the Fédération Internationale de Motocyclisme (FIM) have announced a historic extension of their partnership until 2060.

This groundbreaking agreement has ensured the long-term stability and growth of MotoGP and other Dorna-run FIM World Championships.

The renewed partnership has marked a significant milestone in the relationship between Dorna and the FIM. It has reaffirmed their shared commitment to the development and success of motorcycle racing, providing a solid foundation for the sport’s future. The extended agreement will allow for continued investment in MotoGP, ensuring its global appeal and continued expansion into new markets.

Jorge Viegas, President of the FIM, expressed his enthusiasm for the partnership, stating, “This is an incredibly important moment and one that provides long-term clarity and security regarding the pinnacle of motorcycle sport. This is not only important for all those directly involved in MotoGP™, but also for the wider motorcycle racing community that reaps the benefits from the global status, value and presence of this leading series.

“The ongoing and ever closer collaboration between the FIM, Dorna Sports and the other key stakeholders is something that has been built over many years, the trust and cooperation that now exists alongside this long-term agreement offer great foundations for the future development of MotoGP™ plus all the related championships. The agreement covers a wide range of motorcycle racing disciplines, from the grassroots level to the pinnacle of the sport. It ensures the continued promotion of all Dorna-run FIM World Championships, including MotoGP, Moto2, and Moto3.
