DJ Bravo launches a clothing line

The cricketer currently aims to sell 5,00,000 units across the globe as he would mainly focus on sustainability.

Former West Indies all-rounder, Dwayne Bravo has announced his entry into the fashion business industry by launching his clothing line, DJ Bravo 47. The brand was officially launched and announced at the CIO summit which was hosted in Dubai with delegates present from 40 countries.

Dwayne Bravo has partnered with the Singapore-based, 3 Big Dogs to make his clothing line available to his fans and the public. In the initial stage of the production, DJ Bravo 47 will launch t-shirts, hoodies, joggers, shorts, shoes, bags for men, women, and kids. While in the later stage it will bring on other accessories like jewellery in its product catalogue.

The cricketer currently aims to sell 5,00,000 units across the globe as he would mainly focus on sustainability. It will be emerging as the core feature to assist the fashion industry’s goal to reduce the carbon footprint and address the issue of climate change.

Speaking on the occasion, Dwayne Bravo said: “The fans can expect some new designs and we’ll be dropping the brand new edition of sir champion t-shirts as well. Understanding our social responsibility for solving climate change, we made a conscious attempt to reduce our carbon footprint. I am looking forward to this new launch and hope my fans and supporters appreciate our efforts.”

Murali Desingh, who is the former managing director of Crocs India and former business head of Speedo India, has been appointed as the country head of DJ Bravo 47. The brand plans to launch its first physical store in 2022.

Desingh said: “Dwayne is hugely popular with the youth of the country which prompted us to build an Apparel and footwear range of unique. We are looking at opening our concept stores in the first half of 2022.”
