Distill Brands International becomes MLB’s official vodka

The agreement continues a recent trend of MLB signing new sponsorship agreements.

As part of a long-term and extensive agreement, Distill Brands International has been appointed the official vodka of Major League Baseball (MLB) in the United States and Canada.

In accordance with the deal, Distill Brands will market its entire line of ‘Super Premium’ and ‘Premium Vodka’, as well as vodka-based ice lollies and ready-to-drink vodka cocktails, across MLB’s broadcasting and streaming media, including MLB Network and MLB.com.

Moreover, starting in the first quarter of 2023, Distill Brands would start selling its products in stores with MLB advertising billboards in California, Florida, and New York. As the MLB alliance develops, this will also apply to eateries and retail locations. Distill Brands has also obtained advertising and engagement rights for all MLB jewel events, such as the World Series and MLB All-Star Week.

Noah Garden, MLB Chief Revenue Officer, stated, “With their breadth of creativity and experience in the industry, DBI is a great addition to the MLB lineup of official sponsors.

“We look forward to working together over the coming years.”

The agreement continues a recent trend of MLB signing new sponsorship agreements, which also involves league-level associations with the ice cream and restaurant chain Dairy Queen, the healthcare solutions provider Cue Health, the financial services organisation Capital One, the beer brand Corona, and the mattress chain store Mattress Firm, and many more.
