Disney Star ropes in additional new sponsors ahead of WTC Final 2023

Disney Star has exclusive linear and digital rights to ICC men's and women's championships for four years.

One of the leading broadcasting conglomerates and the official broadcaster of the ICC World Test Championship (WTC), Disney Star has roped in 28 sponsors for its coverage of the WTC Final between India vs Australia.

Disney Star has exclusive linear and digital rights to men’s and women’s championships for four years (2024 – 2027), as the International Cricket Council‘s (ICC) official broadcast rights holder. Disney Star already has the global rights to broadcast ICC events in an eight-year (2015 – 2023) deal costing $2.1 billion (€1.97 billion).

Bajaj Allianz, Layer’R Shot, Pokerbaazi, MRF, Samco Securities, Jindal Panther Steel, Ultratech Cement, DBS Bank, Atomberg Technologies, Maruti Suzuki, Charged By Thums Up, Hero Motocorp, Cadbury Dairy Milk, Livguard Energy Technologies, Allied Blenders and Distilleries will sponsor Star Sports’ coverage of the WTC final match.

Star Sports has attracted 40 advertisements representing 45+ brands along with the aforementioned 15 sponsors.

Furthermore, Baazi Games has joined as a co-presenting sponsor, and ICICI Prudential Mutual Fund has partnered as a co-power sponsor for programming on Disney+ Hotstar. The list of associate sponsors includes Bajaj Allianz, Scaler Academy, Policy Bazaar, Paisa Bazaar, Club Mahindra, Coca-Cola, HSBC, Maruti Suzuki, Uber, L’Oreal, and Castrol.

The summit fixture of the WTC cycle 2021-23 is all set to commence in a couple of hours today i.e. Wednesday, June 7 at 3:00 pm IST.
