The crypto derivatives trading platform, Delta Exchange, has partnered with the India-Afghanistan T20I series as a global sponsor, marking a significant expansion of its cricket-led marketing strategy and giving the brand on-ground and broadcast visibility across the three-match series in New Delhi.

The series, hosted by the Afghanistan Cricket Board (ACB), is being played at the Arun Jaitley Stadium on September 13, 15 and 17. Delta Exchange has received visibility through on-ground advertising, broadcast branding and fan-engagement initiatives during the series.

According to Delta Exchange, the partnership makes it the first crypto brand to sponsor on-ground cricket advertising inventory in India. The company is using the association to broaden brand awareness and reach consumers beyond its existing trading audience, while creating greater awareness around its growing portfolio of trading products and features.

Neeraj Thakur, Head of Marketing, Delta Exchange, said, “India’s strong passion towards Cricket has inspired us to sponsor the India–Afghanistan T20I Series in India, enabling us to take the Delta Exchange brand to a much wider consumer base across the country. As we continue to expand our product offering and make sophisticated trading instruments more accessible, we are focused on building greater awareness and meaningful engagement around the platform.”

The partnership comes against the backdrop of a distinctive commercial structure for the series. Although the matches are being played in India, Afghanistan is the designated host, allowing the ACB to control the commercial and media rights for the property. The ACB has separately secured e& as title sponsor, while other commercial partners are also attached to the series.

India has already secured the series after defeating Afghanistan by seven wickets in the second T20I on September 15 to take an unassailable 2-0 lead. The final match will be played on September 17.

Sony Sports Network holds the television rights in India, while FanCode provides digital streaming.
