DAZN has announced three major rights acquisitions that reinforce its twin strategy of premium exclusivity and free global access, further solidifying its position as a leading sports streaming platform.

At the heart of the expansion is a five-year exclusive deal for Spain’s premier basketball competitions. Fans worldwide can now watch every game from the Liga Endesa, Supercopa Endesa, and Copa del Rey live and on demand on DAZN. To widen access, DAZN will broadcast one game per week free of charge, while also introducing flexible pricing options, including a basketball-only package. Coverage extends beyond Spain to key international markets such as the United States, UK, France, Italy, Canada, MENA, Australia, and Japan, with Germany and Austria set to join from the 2026–27 season.

In motorsport, DAZN has partnered with GT Sport to bring the International GT Open, Euroformula Open, and GT Cup Europe to its platform. All events will be streamed free globally with English commentary. Recognised as proving grounds for both elite drivers and leading marques, including Ferrari, Porsche, Lamborghini, and McLaren, the championships will showcase their season finales at renowned circuits such as Austria’s Red Bull Ring, Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya, and Italy’s Monza.

Adding to its free-to-access motorsport offering, DAZN has also secured global rights to TCR Europe, the continent’s top touring car championship. The deal makes every race available to fans across more than 200 territories, on devices ranging from smart TVs to mobile phones and gaming consoles, with commentary in English and Spanish. Programming will be enhanced with TCR Europe: UNBOXED, a highlights and analysis show designed to deepen engagement around race weekends.

With these acquisitions, DAZN is pursuing a balanced rights strategy: premium exclusivity in established sports paired with open, no-cost coverage of emerging competitions. The approach broadens its global audience, offering subscribers unmatched value while welcoming new fans into the platform’s ecosystem.
