Dabang Delhi KC, one of the most consistent forces in the Pro Kabaddi League (PKL), took a bold step towards sustainability by donning a unique green jersey, becoming the first team in PKL history to do so as part of their revolutionary cooperation with Aavashyak Game.

This groundbreaking program integrates on-field kabaddi events with real-world environmental action, demonstrating the team’s strong commitment to a cleaner future.

The Raid for Green program turns every Dabang Delhi KC raid point into a concrete impact, with each successful raid resulting in the planting of a tree in high-pollution, low-green-cover zones around the NCR. Dabang Delhi KC have planted 295 trees thus far.
The effort also seeks to encourage supporters to join the cause. During home games, the “Green Fan of the Match” section will recognise supporters who share their own eco-actions by presenting them with a sapling and a digital acknowledgement. During the opening match of the tournament’s Delhi leg, a green game for the climate was held, complete with real-time green metrics and fan commitments.

Prashant Mishra, CEO of Dabang Delhi K. C., said, “At Dabang Delhi KC, we’ve always believed that the power of sport extends beyond the mat. With the Aavashyak GAME initiative, we’re turning our kabaddi moments into a force for good, where every raid, every cheer, and every fan action contributes to a cleaner, greener tomorrow. This green jersey is more than just a colour; it’s a symbol of our commitment to climate-positive change.”

Dabang Delhi K.C. faced Puneri Paltan in an exciting clash yesterday, wearing their unique green jerseys to show their dedication to a greener future. Despite the absence of captain Ashu Malik, Dabang Delhi’s raiders rose to the situation by demonstrating cooperation and effort. Ajinkya Pawar led the attack with a magnificent Super 10, assisted by Neeraj Narwal, while other raiders scored key points to keep the battle close. The final score was Dabang Delhi 38-38 Puneri Paltan.

The unique green jersey match during the Delhi leg was the campaign’s highlight, honouring both the team’s great performance and their accomplishment in raising environmental awareness.

With this effort, Dabang Delhi KC hope to create a new standard in Indian sports by promoting kabaddi as a climate-positive sport, demonstrating that little, everyday acts taken by fans, players, and communities can add up to significant impact.
