Brisbane Heat have added outdoor power equipment brand Cub Cadet to its commercial portfolio in a new partnership spanning the club’s Big Bash League (BBL) and Women’s Big Bash League (WBBL) programmes.
The agreement will give the outdoor power equipment brand a presence across the Heat’s summer cricket platform, with the brand set to feature on the WBBL team’s playing pants alongside match-day signage, digital content and fan-facing activations.
Cub Cadet branding will also be visible at key Brisbane Heat venues, including Allan Border Field and The Gabba. At The Gabba, the brand will occupy signage space beneath the Eastern Scoreboard on the Vulture Street side, extending its visibility across the club’s home fixtures.
The partnership is also designed to support Cub Cadet’s dealer network across Australia, using the Brisbane Heat platform to strengthen consumer engagement while providing greater visibility for businesses operating within the brand’s local dealer network.
Brisbane Heat General Manager – Commercial, Marketing & Corporate Affairs Pete Lock said, “The Heat are delighted to welcome Cub Cadet to the club, and to the Big Bash environment. For many Queenslanders, the summer months have meant Big Bash on the television, cricket games in the backyard, weekends outdoors and plenty of time spent looking after the lawn. This partnership will celebrate those distinctly Queensland summer experiences while introducing Cub Cadet to the Heat’s passionate fanbase.”
Cub Cadet Brand Manager David Kennedy added, “Nothing says Australian summer like cricket and a freshly cut lawn. Cub Cadet is where those two things meet. We’re thrilled to be partnered with Brisbane Heat and putting our machines to work on the biggest stage in the game. Our dealers are the reason this partnership makes sense. They’re the ones in local communities, delivering excellence and backing our values. This gives them a stage they’ve well and truly earned.”
The partnership gives Cub Cadet a platform that combines team and venue branding with digital and experiential activity, while aligning the brand with Brisbane Heat’s audience during the peak Australian summer sporting calendar.
