Therabody continues to expand as a brand as they have announced signing with Juventus and Portugal football player Cristiano Ronaldo. The Portuguese will act as the brand ambassador of the global leader in the overall wellness space. This partnership also marks the release of Therabody’s largest global ad campaign to date, which will launch in the United States of America, United Kingdom, Europe, Canada, Australia, China, and Japan.
As per the agreement, Ronald will promote the Theragun percussive therapy device. The Portuguese star follows a host of notable athletes and celebrities in signing with the brand. Ronaldo admitted that Therabody helps in achieving the best recovery after games.

Ronaldo’s introduction to Theragun was in 2017 when the founder of Therabody, Dr. Jason Wersland facilitated a demonstration for players and coaching staff at Real Madrid. He was the first athlete that Dr. Wersland had seen use Theragun’s cone attachment on the sole of his foot, which also facilitated the firm to create a new Theragun protocol. Dr. Jason has become a trusted resource for Ronaldo, advising him on ways to optimize Theragun benefits and help advance his recovery routine. Wersland admitted that Ronaldo has been exploring new ways to take care of his wellness and remain at the pinnacle of football.

Previously, Belgian forward Romelu Lukaku had joined Therabody as an investor and ambassador recently. Therabody has already partnered up with some of the biggest names in the sporting world.
