India is currently touring Sri Lanka for three ODIs and as many T20Is. The series commenced on July 18, the first ODI was played on Sunday where India beat Sri Lanka by seven wickets and acquired the lead of 1-0.

In the absence of Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma and Jasprit Bumrah, the Indian team touring Sri Lanka has been captained by Shikhar Dhawan with Bhuvneshwar Kumar as his deputy. The team has been coached by the legendary Indian cricketer Rahul Dravid. The likes of Devdutt Padikkal, Ruturaj Gaikwad and Chetan Sakariya have received their maiden international call. On the other hand, the Sri Lankan team will be headed by Dasun Sanaka for the entire limited-overs series.
