Cricket Australia has strengthened its commercial portfolio by expanding its partnership with digital healthcare provider Hola Health, introducing the first back-of-shirt sponsorship to feature across the Australian men’s and women’s international playing kits in all three formats of the game.

The enhanced agreement will see Hola Health’s branding displayed beneath the player number on the back of Australia’s Test, One-Day International and Twenty20 International jerseys, while also elevating the company to the status of Cricket Australia gold partner. The upgrade comes less than a year after Hola Health first joined Cricket Australia’s commercial partner network, underscoring the rapid growth of the relationship.

The deal marks a significant commercial milestone for Australian cricket. Although Australia’s men’s T20 International side previously featured a rear-of-shirt sponsor in 2020, this is the first time a single brand will receive back-of-kit visibility across both the men’s and women’s national teams in Test, ODI and T20I cricket.

The sponsorship also reflects Cricket Australia’s continued strategy of expanding its commercial inventory while preserving the iconic look of the national playing kit. Rather than adopting the upper-back placement used by several other international teams, Cricket Australia has positioned Hola Health’s logo below the player number, ensuring player names remain clearly visible while creating a premium new sponsorship asset.

Australia’s updated playing kit will make its on-field debut during the upcoming two-Test series against Bangladesh, beginning on August 13 in Darwin before concluding in Mackay.

The partnership forms part of Cricket Australia’s broader commercial evolution in recent years. Player names and numbers were introduced on Australia’s Test shirts following the launch of the ICC World Test Championship in 2019, while the expansion of sponsorship inventory on international playing apparel has become an increasingly important revenue stream for cricket boards worldwide. Alongside principal partner Westpac and official apparel supplier ASICS, the addition of Hola Health further enhances Cricket Australia’s sponsorship portfolio.

For Hola Health, the agreement delivers premium year-round exposure across Australia’s men’s and women’s international calendars, providing the healthcare technology company with one of the sport’s most visible branding platforms while reinforcing cricket’s growing value as a vehicle for long-term brand building and national consumer engagement.
